Sasera White

Full-bodied and fruity notes. Gold in colour, gold in recognition.

Sasera is an elegant wine that seduces with its intense, complex aromas and marvelous length on the palate. A special pampering that can overwhelm the most demanding palate and the most refined of tasters with surprise. Yet by saying ‘Sasera’, there is a reference to the land, which in the Pian delle Vit in Lentiai is ‘full of stones’.

CELLAR

Vinification: after crushing and destemming, a 12-hour cold maceration on the skins follows, followed by soft pressing and the must obtained is decanted cold for 24 hours.
The clear part is poured into barrels where fermentation begins and is conducted very slowly at low temperatures for 10-15 days.
At the end of alcoholic fermentation, the wine undergoes two batonages a week for about three months during which it completes malolactic fermentation.
Maturation: 6-10 months in French oak barrels (Tonnellerie Baron).
Refinement: 3 months in bottle.
Alcohol: 13 %

Bottle stored horizontally in a cool, ventilated place.
Serving temperature: 10-12°C
Food pairings: goes particularly well with medium mature and blue cheeses, smoked fish, dumplings, pizzoccheri, roast white meats.
